50 Tells Ciara To 'Cut It Out' As Twitter Feud Heats Up
50 Cent and R&B singer Ciara confronted one another via Twitter earlier today, after the pair sent a series of subliminal tweets to each other last week.
The shenanigans started on Wednesday (January 26th), when 50 Cent tweeted a picture of himself with Hugh Hefner, at The Playboy Mansion.
The problems with Ciara began when she replied to one of 50 Cent's many wild tweets, that jokingly labeled all 3,932,409 on his Twitter timeline a "b***h."
Ciara didn't take kindly to the comments and shot back “The things people tweet say a lot about their character, pay attention!”
50 immediately replied with an insult toward his former flame, telling her: “Yea I tweet things that reflect my character b*tch. I have a sense of humor get one (lol). That’s why you’re 3 mill followers behind me."
The back-and-forth got more intense last night, when Ciara tweeted 50 Cent directly. "Who you callin' a b**ch" Ciara asked, while providing a link to Queen Latifah's classic 1993 song "U.N.I.T.Y.," which blasts men for calling women "b**ches."
"Now I'm not going back n forth with you on twitter now cut it out," 50 Cent tweeted in response.

Federal Task Force Formed To Pursue Leads Related To B.I.G's Murder
The 13-year-old investigation into the murder of rapper Christopher "Notorious B.I.G." Wallace has gained traction in recent months, as new leads are being pursued in an attempt to finally solve the case.
Sources told CNN's Anderson Cooper that a new task force of local and federal law enforcement agencies are pursuing leads related to the March 9th, 1997 slaying of Biggie outside of the Petersen Automotive Museum in downtown Los Angeles.
Police claim a lone gunman in a Chevy Impala rolled up next to a Chevy Suburban carrying B.I.G. and members of his entourage.
He was killed on the spot when the unknown gunman sprayed the passenger side with bullets in a scene eerily reminiscent of the slaying of Tupac Shakur six months earlier, on September 7th 1996, on the Las Vegas Strip.
Russell Poole, a retired LAPD officer who investigated the murders and wrote a book titled LAbyrinth: A Detective Investigates the Murders of Tupac Shakur and Notorious B.I.G., the Implication of Death Row Records' Suge Knight, and the Origins of the Los Angeles Police Scandal, is sticking to the theory that Death Row Records boss Marion "Suge" Knight ordered the hit while he sat in jail on a probation violation.
According to Poole's theory, disgraced, former LAPD officer David Mack allegedly helped set up the murders, while one of Mack's friends, Amir Muhammad (a.k.a. Harry Billups), was the actual triggerman.
Mack, who is a member of the Bloods street gang, was released from prison in May of 2010, after serving 14 years for his role in a $700,000 bank robbery while he was a police officer.
The investigation into Tupac Shakur's murder in Las Vegas, is ongoing as well.

ChartWatch: Nicki Minaj Hits Platinum! + Top 2010 Albums Review
First things first, Nicki Minaj has broken platinum, according to reports. Congrats!
Happy New Year!!!!!!
Number 1 – Eminem – Recovery
This should come as a surprise to know one. Eminem can pretty much put out anything and it will sell…and in 2009 he did when he release his “comeback” album Relapse. That album proved that Eminem fans will buy anything. But can he still…you know…make good music? Recovery pretty much answers that question. This album isn’t for everyone but it (along with the countless feature appearances where Marshall made the artists look like guests on their own tracks) showed that Em hasn’t lost a step when it comes to lyricism. The album did a little over 3 million here in the U.S.
Number 2 – The Black Eyed Peas – The E.N.D
“Ummm….hey DeVaughn Douglas…you don’t know s*$& about Hip Hop. The Black Eyed Peas are pop. F*%& you and AllHipHop.”
I got that out of the way so you don’t have to waste time in the comment section. I’m thinking about you guys in the new year. Hey, I’m not a fan of them either, but guess what? I’m probably not a fan of your favorite rapper either. What I like doesn’t matter too much, but what does matter is that these guys rap (badly) over music. Does it sound like pop? Yes. Are they rapping? Yes. That means they make it on the countdown. The Energy Never Dies (E.N.D) is over two times platinum and the Peas have already released the album’s follow up, The Beginning.
Number 3 – Drake – Thank Me Later
The Canadian rapper lived up to the hype in 2010 with his debut album. His critics will say that the album had too much R&B or that it didn’t truly meet sales expectations but coming in at number three is nothing to brush off. Thank Me Later has sold around 1.25 million copies stateside. The release of labelmate Nicki Minaj’s Pink Friday has Drake relatively quiet but the promise of a new duet disc with Lil Wayne will give the fans new music soon.
Number 4 – Kanye West – My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy
The Chicago MC disappeared for a brief moment but came back eager to give the public music towards the end of 2010. After giving away music on his website for weeks leading up to its release Kanye dropped MBDTF to great critical acclaim. Who else in Hip Hop is making videos where a company of ballerinas dance over a minimalist piano beat, a distorted Kanye voice, and a scathing Pusha T verse about relationships? Expect to hear more about the album when awards season rolls around. West has sold over 800,000 copies of his fifth studio album.
Number 5 – Nicki Minaj – Pink Friday
Her critics say she’s too poppy. Her raps are completely over the top and gimmicky. She relies heavily on an overused style of rhyming (and my wrist froze/ stage fright). She however doesn’t appear to care about the critics and instead focuses on her ever growing fan base. Nicki Minaj is the only female MC on the countdown and, to date, has sold over 800,000 copies of her debut album.
Number 6 - Lil Wayne – Rebirth
I know…I know. This was said to be classified as a rock album but it’s really just Lil Wayne singing and rapping over bad rock music. I don’t have much to say about this one. It has one of those Eminem features that I spoke about earlier and shows that Lil Wayne is a rap star. Definitely not a rock star but a RAP star nonetheless.
Number 7 – Ludacris – Battle of the Sexes
The album was rumored to be a duet between Ludacris and Shawnna but eventually ended up being the Atlanta rapper’s seventh studio album. Since its March release BOTS has sold over 500,000 copies earning Ludacris a gold plaque.
Number 8 – Rick Ross – Teflon Don
Rick Ross also reached gold a few weeks ago with his fourth studio album Teflon Don. Its been a good 2010 for the rapper which is a step up from 2009. That year Ross was dealing with the aftermath of being exposed as a corrections officer and was embroiled in a beef with 50 Cent. In 2010 Ross linked up with Diddy, made a few tracks with Kanye, and earned a gold plaque.
Number 9 - Lil Wayne – I Am Not A Human Being
In 2010 the Young Money Ceo was sentenced to a year in prison for criminal possession of a weapon. He still managed to put out one experimental rock album and one EP, both of which made the top ten of this list. His label also released albums by Drake and Nicki Minaj, two artists that also made the top ten of this list. Now he’s out of jail. We’ll see what happens in 2011.
Number 10 - B.o.B – The Adventures of Bobby Ray
B.o.B had a slow burn but eventually made his way to gold with his debut album. The Atlanta MC had a string of singles featuring alternative artists which helped to push the eclectic artist’s debut sales past 500,000.
Well, that’s the top ten for 2010. For those that want to know here are the next ten albums for the year as well.
Number 11 – T.I. – No Mercy
Number 12 – Nas & Damian Marley – Distant Relatives
Number 13 – Big Boi – Sir Lucious Leftfoot: The Son of Chico Dusty
Number 14 – Kid Cudi – Man on the Moon II: The Legend of Mr. Rager
Number 15 – John Legend & The Roots – Wake Up!
Number 16 – The Roots – How I Got Over
Number 17 – Plies – Goon Affiliated
Number 18 – Gucci Mane – The Appeal: Georgia’s Most Wanted
Number 19 – Bun B – Trill OG
Number 20 – Waka Flocka Flame – Flockaveli
That leaves us with this year. 2011.
But before I get into the New Year I have to get something off my chest. In the last column…I made a mistake. Apparently Diddy Dirty Money moved 100,000 copies its first week out instead of the 60,000 that I reported. My bad.
Eminem starts off the new year at the number two spot with the aforementioned Recovery. This week the Detroit MC moves 66,000 copies bringing his total sales to 3,418,000.
He is followed by Kanye West whose Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy holds strong at number four. The Chicago MC sells 61,938 copies this week bringing his total sales to 885,938.
Nicki Minaj takes the number five spot selling 61,216 copies of her debut album, Pink Friday. Nicki just b
The Black Eyed Peas round out the top ten with their latest studio album The Beginning. The Hip Hop group sells, 36,515 copies this week, takes the number 10 spot, and rack up a sales total of 315,000.
T.I. jumps from 26 to 15 with his seventh studio album No Mercy. The recently incarcerated rapper sells 32,593 copies of his latest bringing his total to 333,593.
Lil Wayne’s EP I Am Not A Human Being continues to sell taking the 19th spot. This week the album moves 26,228 copies adding to the New Orlean’s MC’s already gold sales.
Last but not least is Diddy Dirty Money whose album Last Train to Paris rests at the number 25 spot. The 22,878 copies sold this week bring the album’s totals to 162,878.
That’s it for the charts this week. I’ll be back next week with the top albums on the charts as well as new albums coming out in Hip Hop.

2010's Music Beef Review
The Sausage Award is an ominous one that could warrant a "pause," but the name remains. The distinction goes to those artists and celebrities that have what we deem bad beef, hence the sausage reference. The silly beefs have feuds have got to cease and these are our award winners for the year 2010.
50 Cent / Perez Hilton
Perez Hilton and The Gays got upset at 50 Cent when the G-Unit General sent out an ill-advised tweet on the popular social network Twitter. “Perez Hilton calld me douchebag so I had my homie shoot up a gay wedding. wasnt his but still made me feel better," 50 said. This is certainly Spam level, but a beef nonetheless.
MC Hammer / Jay-Z
MC Hammer took offense to Jay-Z's reference to his 1996 bankruptcy filing in the Kanye West song "So Appalled." Not satisfied with telling his 2 million Twitter followers of his disgust, Hammer took it to the mic with a song "Better Run Run." The song, was beloved by Hammer loyalists and others, not so much. At the end of the day, we hated to see two elder statesmen of Hip-Hop in conflict even though Jay publicly stated he did no wrong. Regardless...bad for the culture and bad for the the business.
Nicki Minaj / Lil Kim
Once upon a time, Queen Latifah had a song called "U.N.I.T.Y." These days, such notions are nonexistent as it relates to Kim and Nicki and their ongoing feud. The beginnings of this lyrical warfare is unclear and we'll reserve our opinions. Still, with Nicki rocketing into the galaxy and Kim still being the Queen B to most, these two need to cut it out. Lets get the Barbz and the Beez together and start a sustained movement in the Female Hip-Hop realm.
Soulja Boy / Fabolous
This beef is rotten, but it was a definite sign of the times. Soulja Boy is well-known for his digital swag, but has recently been taking more street approach to his style. Fabolous, on the other hand, is known for his Street Fam, but has been all the rage on Twitter. So after Soulja Boy was allegedly caught with Kat Stacks in a coke-sniffing fiasco (emphasis on allegedly), Fab started a trending topic called "#stupidboyswag." SB, in an effort to maintain his dignity lashed back! He eventually challenged Fab - a highly proficient lyricist - to a rap battle. As the temperature continued to rise, these guys just got on NYC radio and ended it as wackly as it started.
Young Jeezy / Rick Ross
What happened? Both of these Trap Stars are seemingly cut from the same cloth. Maybe not, but still. They have done songs together. They have similar content. They are both on Def Jam Records. They also have a lot of love for drug kingpin Big Meech. The only issue is that Jeezy has been cool with Meech for a much longer period than Meech who reinvigorated the incarcerated Meech in the song "BMF (Blowin' Money Fast)." A war of words has continued in song and in various interviews. We love the music of both guys. Can't we all just get along?
