Diddy Makes History As One of the Top Minority Owned Businesses

Sean "Diddy" Combs is celebrating Black History Month by making some of his own, as the Hip-Hop mogul was recently named one of the largest minority-owned business in New York.

Combs' Bad Boy Worldwide Entertainment Group is the third largest minority-owned business in the state, Crain's New York Business recently revealed.

The mogul is involved in a wide range of business activity, from music publishing, artist management and TV and film production, to apparel (Sean John) and restaurants.

"It is an incredible honor to be included among the top three minority owned companies in New York City time and time again," Combs told AllHipHop.com in a statement. "Hard work, determination and an unfettered desire to succeed helped me build this company to what it is today."

Diddy, who's businesses rake in over $300,000 million annual, said that his biggest goal was to continue to inspire a new generation of entrepreneurs to follow their dreams.

"I hope to serve as an example and inspire anyone with a dream to dream bigger and know that they can achieve their goals," said Diddy, who will be honored this weekend by hundreds of executives in Los Angeles during Grammy Weekend.
